Ride the Waves or Explore the Harbor

A Kayak is a small light weight canoe-type boat that sits 1 - 2 passengers. Oar-like paddles are used to propel the Kayak through the water. Kayaks are primarily used for exploration and recreational in-land fishing. Kayaks can also be used on the beach to ride waves. Rent a kayak out of the Destin Harbor area or have on delivered to your beach house or condo.

A fun eco-friendly way to explore the Emerald Waters

Kayaks are not difficult to maneuver. It may take a first-timer 10 or 20 minutes to get used to the paddle/oars and maintain their balance in the boat, but once that's accomplished; you're pretty much on your way! Kayaking is great exercise and a terrific Family Activity. Kayaks are usually available for same-day rental, however, during Destin's peak season, (March through September), it is advisable to book 1 to 2 days in advance. Some of the marine wildlife you'll see while kayaking could be dolphins, fish, birds and maybe some sharks! Most rental companies will include a quick instruction so you can have a better experience. We recommend booking a Destin kayak rental because they are great for groups and exploring the Emerald Coast. while visiting the Destin Harbor Boardwalk, be sure to check out all the other things to do.

Customer Reviews from TripShock.com

Great Staff
"I was very pleased with their service. The day that we were oringinally scheduled to go Kayaking, the winds were high. So a staff member emailed me and let me know that it was too windy to send us out. He kept us informed on the weather and if we would be able to go or not. He even emailed me to let me know they would be closed due to the weather. Finally on Saturday, we were able to go and had so much fun. I most definitely would recommend them to family or friends."
